Graduation
Ceremony

The
Badil
Center
for
Palestinian
Residency
and
Refugee
Rights
is
pleased
to
announce
the
graduation
ceremony
of
the
second
annual
Refugee-Rights
Youth
Training
Project.
This
year,
375
youth
aged
14-17
years
old
participated
in
the
Project,
which
brought
together
youth
from
ten
refugee
and
youth
organization
representing
different
areas
of
the
occupied
West
Bank
as
well
as
internally
displaced
youth
living
in
Haifa
and
Nazareth.
The
Project,
which
ran
from
March
2007
until
April
2008,
engaged
participants
in
workshops
on
Palestinian
refugee
rights
and
the
history
of
the
Palestinian
struggle;
participation
in
events
commemorating
the
Palestinian
Nakba
and
highlighting
the
plight
of
Palestinian
refugees
and
their
rights
to
return,
restitution
and
compensation;
visits
to
destroyed
Palestinian
villages;
as
well
as a
youth
summer
camp.
The
graduation
ceremony
will
involve
presentations
and
performances
that
each
of
the
youth
committees
has
specially
prepared
for
the
ceremony;
as
well
as
speeches
by
PLC
member
Mohammad
Al-Lahham
and
Badil
campaign
unit
coordinator
Muhammad
Jaradat.
The
ceremony
will
also
involve
the
presentation
of
graduation
certificates
to
the
participants.
