BADIL’s refugee rights campaign implements and facilitates a variety of empowerment activities and actions with local and regional Palestinian civil society that aim to increase the capacity of rights holders to act collectively, strengthen their identity, promote their unity, and empower initiatives of rights holders self-organization. BADIL uses different mechanisms to increase the capacity of the Palestinian civil society to understand the legal situation imposed by Israel and how the Israeli regime of occupation, colonialism, and apartheid is the main causes of the ongoing displacement of Palestinians. Actions include empowerment of children, youth, and women through workshops and joint actions, training, awareness rising, support of demonstrations and rallies, commemorations of the Nakba and Land Day, petitions and lobbying, study tours to refugee camps and villages under threat of displacement, as well as lectures and briefings to international delegations.
