The Badil Resource Center for Palestinian Residency and Refugee Rights is pleased to announce that the 2009 Desk-Calendars are out, and ready to be ordered and shipped.
This year's calendar is titled “The Ongoing Nakba”, and includes photos and information about the ongoing forced displacement of Palestinians. Relevant historic dates and events are marked for each month of the year, as well as information about some of the specific aspects of Palestine's ongoing Nakba as follows:

February: Israel's discriminatory Military Rule 1948 – 1966
March: Erasing the Identity of Palestinian Cities (Jaffa, Lydd, Ramleh, Akka)

- People who have a subscription to Badil's English Language quarterly magazine al-Majdal will receive a free copy of the calendar with the next issue (Issue#39, Fall 2008). This issue of al-Majdal is titled “Palestine's Ongoing Nakba” and includes in depth analysis of the ongoing displacement of Palestinians, as well as the ongoing exile of Palestinian refugees.
