The 10th Right of Return March to the displaced village of Allajun
on Tuesday, April 24, 2007
Rally begins at the entrance of the village of Allajun at three pm
From there, participants will march, carrying flags, behind the slogans of the right of return, and banners with the names of hundreds of destroyed and displaced villages, while thousands cheer, confirming the pledge and determination to persevere until the desired return is realized.
The march will end with a popular festival containing brief addresses and a cultural presentation followed by a tour around the village and a variety of cultural activities.
Let us make this event a great demonstration and an important part in the life of the Palestinian people who are demanding implementation of their Right of Return
People coming to the March are requested to enter from the Megiddo Junction in the direction of Haifa, and at a distance of 300 m after the junction, the organizers will direct the traffic to the gathering place at the entrance of the village of Allajun

A CALL TO ACTION
The future of the Palestinian people is at a crossroads; 2007 - 2008 marks a historic opportunity for faith-based organizations, individuals, community groups, the solidarity movement, unions and political parties to pool resources and activities and campaign for a rights-based solution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Critical is the focus on the enforcement of the rights of Palestinian refugees under international law.
This may well be the last decade anniversary when Palestinian eye-witnesses from the 1948 Nakba are still living. Now more than ever Palestinians are counting on local and global society to build pressure for the enforcement of international law – the foundation for a just peace between Palestinians and Israelis. Let's make 2007 – 2008 into 'the campaign of freedom and return'. Not just the return (al-awda) of the refugees, but also a return to the rule of law and respect for human rights.
