BADIL is holding its second annual International Mobilization Course for the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People between 31 July 2021 and 13 August 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the ongoing global travel restrictions, the course will be held entirely online for a total of 7 days – 4 days in the first week and 3 days in the second week. This course presents a unique opportunity for international advocates, activists, mobilizers, policy officers and other interested individuals to gain a deeper understanding of a human rights-based approach to advance the international solidarity movement.
The program includes a range of interactive discussion-based elements, namely in-depth lectures and virtual field visits. These distinct elements will delve into issues, both current and historical, that impede on the Palestinian people’s access to and realization of their rights. Participants will thus gain a solid grasp of the history of the Palestinian struggle, policies of forcible displacement, Palestinian resistance, international advocacy, and the facts on the ground.
