BADIL’s 3rd and 4th Intervention Under Item 3 of the UNHRC 50th: Freedom of Opinion and Speech & Palestinian refugees in Lebanon
For the consideration of the United Nations Human Rights Council in its 50th regular session, BADIL submitted the following written and oral statements:
In the interactive dialogue with the SR on the Freedom of Opinion and Speech, an oral statement highlighting the weaponization of anti-Semitism and terrorism by Israel to intimidate, silence and censor Palestinian and international civil societies.
In the interactive dialogue with the SR on Poverty and Human Rights, concerning his country visit and report on Lebanon, a written and oral statement calling for the protection of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon as one of the most impoverished and marginalized groups in Lebanon.
