Under the Umbrella of Genocide in Gaza:

Israel Targets Palestinian Civilians, Hospitals and Infrastructure in Tulkarem

On Monday, 14 November, Tulkarem city and refugee camp were targeted by Israel for the second time within a week. With massive military vehicles and bulldozers, huge number of soldiers and snipers, bolstered by suicidal and missile-carrying drones, the Israeli forces killed 7 Palestinians, and injured over 15 others. During the 15 hours invasion, Israel destroyed crucial parts of the camp’s infrastructure, streets and neighborhoods.

Furthermore, Israeli forces attacked the Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in Tulkarem, bombed its entrance and emergency room with gas canisters, causing the suffocation of patients and medical staff.

The attack against Tulkarem city and camp, is another example of wider Israeli systematic policies targeting hospitals and civilians, and killing them, creating an unbearable coercive environment, and collectively punishing and terrorizing Palestinians. Such policies are carried out under the Israeli Genocidal War in Gaza and the West Bank. The strategic goal is entrenching the Israeli colonial-apartheid domination through the suppression of the Palestinian people’s resistance, wherever they reside.

With a glaring absence of political will, accountability and concrete pressure to impose an immediate and unconditional ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and end suppression in the West Bank, Israel will continue its genocidal war against Palestinians in all of Mandatory Palestine under the umbrella of impunity provided by colonial states.
