Last summer, 17 activists, human rights defenders, mobilizers and advocacy or policy officers from all over the world participated in BADIL’s International Mobilization Course. 

Over 10 days, multiple formats were provided to deepen the understanding of the reality in Palestine and enhance advocacy skills, such as lectures, panels, field visits and interactive workshops.

On the one hand, participants gained solid historical and legal knowledge through lectures and panels, while field visits to both sides of the Green Line enabled them to observe first-hand the forcible transfer policies and to understand them as part of the overall Zionist-Israeli colonial-apartheid regime.

The different workshops, on the other hand, engaged the participants in developing solidarity campaigns and movements, as well as to learn how to collectively influence third-party duty bearers. It was also the opportunity for them to network and create future partnerships in their respective countries.

Dates: 22.07 to 31.07.2024

Application deadline: 19.05.2024 midnight CET

(! Due to the current ongoing genocide, we ask selected participants to hold on with booking their flights until May 31st when confirmation of the course's format will be announced.)

Language: Participants must master the 4 English skills:listening, speaking, reading and writing; as the entire training will be held in English.

Fees: 500 USD per person (including course material, field visits, accommodation, breakfast & lunch). Participants must cover the transportation costs to Bethlehem, as well as the potential insurance and visa fees. Payment must be made in cash (NIS or USD) to BADIL’s finance officer at the beginning of the course.
